In a 4-6 vote, approved a maximum property tax levy increase of 8.3%. This is .2% higher than Mayor Jacob Frey’s proposed 8.1% increase. This action doesn’t guarantee an increase this large, but allows for it.

- Voting no: Frey, Brandt
- Those in support advocated for the .2% increase in order to accommodate the Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board’s request for increased funds to cover increased labor costs and support youth programming. Frey and Brandt emphasized the need to minimize the burden on residents.
