The Administration, Operations, and Budget Committee:

  • Approved a $1.7 million contract with Cannon Design, Inc. to assist in planning a 10-year Hennepin Healthcare System restructuring.
  • Postponed three appointments to Feb. 4: Race Equity Advisory Council, Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act Board, and Three Rivers Park District Board.
  • Reviewed applications for various 2025 Community Advisory Boards, including the Adult Mental Health Local Advisory Council, Minnehaha Creek Watershed District, and Library Board–which saw the most applicants for that position in the County’s history.

The Law, Safety, and Justice Committee extending its agreement to assist the City of Minneapolis with its sexual assault prosecution efforts to Sept. 30 and approved $173,000 in additional funding.

The Human Services Committee approved routine items and noted interest from a state representative in collaborating on reimbursement of licensing fees for family child care.

The Housing and Redevelopment Authority appointed new officers: Chair Commissioner Conley, Vice Chair Commissioner Anderson, Secretary Commissioner Lunde, and Treasurer Commissioner Greene.
