Meeting as committees, the board:

• Held a public hearing about the 2025 HUD Annual Action Plan. There were no public comments and another public hearing was set for May 13
• Held a public hearing on the 2025-2029 Capital Improvement Program. There were no public comments.
• Approved a contract increase with The Improve Group for $100,000 to evaluate the county’s guaranteed income pilot program.
• Approved a resolution supporting the Gold Line bus extension to downtown Minneapolis.
• Approved a cannabis retailers ordinance, allows local cities to delegate registration and compliance authority to the county.
• Approved $3 million for African American Family Preservation and Child Welfare Disproportionality Act implementation.

All items will be voted on again at the next board meeting.
