• The Administration, Operations and Budget committee approved $2 million for anti-displacement work through contracts with local partners in the Blue Line Extension corridor. It also received an annual report from the Racial Equity Advisory Council.
• The Law, Safety and Justice Committee approved an after-action report for the events surrounding the assassination of House Speaker Emerita Melissa Hortmann and approved a $40 million contract for public safety services, such as body cam, digital evidence management, and video sharing, through 2034.
• The Intergovernmental Committee approved the county’s legislative platform for the 2026 state Legislative session. The main changes were to remove previous items that have been completed or already passed into law and to mitigate cuts at the federal level that impact health and human services programs, such as Medicaid and SNAP.
