• Approved a health care plan and the premium rates for Hennepin County employees and their dependents. This item had been delayed for a week so commissioners could consider one sticking point in the plan: an increase in employees’ deductibles from $300-600 to $500-1000.
• Approved a maximum property tax levy of $1,045,829,900 – a 5.5% increase from the 2024 levy. The proposed budget is $2,950,885,900. The board will take a final vote on the budget and levy in December.
• Approved temporarily boarding Hennepin County inmates at the Dakota County Jail in an effort to remediate overcrowding.
