- Passed a resolution, by a vote of 4-2, authorizing a Labor Standards Board which will recommend labor policies to the council. The Board would be made up of appointees from employers, employees, and community members and start May 1st, 2025 if passed by the full council.
- Received a report on the 340B program, which allows hospitals and other providers to deliver lower cost drugs to patients. Report focused on light regulation of the program and existing memorandum of understanding (MOU) used by the city and other levels of government in this process. Minneapolis has two MOUs with providers.
- Unanimously adopted an ordinance change to add carbon dioxide equivalents to the pollution control annual registration (PCAR) in 2025, with fees due by August 1, rather than the usual January 31 deadline.
