Received and filed two reports:
- The 2024 Enterprise Risk Assessment, which detailed areas of heightened risk in the city enterprise.
- Focus areas included:
- staffing shortages which may affect city compliance with consent decrees,
- AI usage compromising data privacy along with vulnerability to cyber attacks
- A lack of consistent policies and procedures, most notably when it comes to new employee onboarding and work directives.
- Focus areas included:
- The Report of the City Auditor, which gave results of the Officer Injured on Duty data analysis. This analysis showed a decrease of PTSD claims – which make up the highest percentage of the city’s workers’ compensation claims – from 148 in 2020 to 36 in 2022. The second highest amount of worker’s compensation claims were related to COVID-19.
