  • Updated projected cost of the line is $2.9 billion to $3.2 billion, which includes $700 million to $1 billion in contingency costs.

• Federal funding is being sought for the project and has a set FTA of criteria that determine a rating for the project. The project is estimated to rate at Medium, while a Medium-High or High rating is desired.
