• Approved the sale of 2300 15th Ave S to Minnesota Indian Women’s Resource Center for $1
• Approved the issuance of $31 million Tax-Exempt Multifamily Housing Revenue Bonds for the Northrup King Residential project. Staff described this as “an adaptive reuse of three buildings of the 13-building Northrup King campus.” The site will be transformed into 84-unit affordable housing and 8,000 sqf of art-related commercial space
• Approved changes to the Perpetually Affordable Housing program:
  • Wealth building to be increased from 2% to 2.5%.
  • Homeowners in the program would also receive credit for capital improvement they added to their homes.
• Received a presentation from the City Auditor’s Office about the costs that rideshare drivers incur. This information was requested by the council as they consider an ordinance that contains protections, including minimum wage, for rideshare drivers.
