The Public Works Committee approved:
- Renewing agreements with contractors for operating HERC, disposing ash, recycling metal, and recovering steam through 2033. The resolution specifies that the county may terminate the contracts earlier if the state Legislature or county board closes HERC before 2033.
- The selection of HDR Engineering to design for multi-modal improvements on Park Ave and Portland Ave in two sections: between the Midtown Greenway and 18th Street, and 38th and 42nd Streets.
