- Adopted a regulation of tobacco products ordinance. This raises the price minimum of a pack of cigarettes to $15, disallows coupons and vouchers for tobacco products, and places a 15 minute time limit on in store tobacco sampling.
- Approved the appointment of Timothy Sexton as Public Works Director.
- In a 9-4 vote, adopted a legislative directive for data regarding the City of Minneapolis’ Truth and Reconciliation process, previous instances of city-owned property being developed into community led projects, and other options for a new Elections & Voter Services Center. Council Members Jenkins, Palmisano, Rainville, and Vetaw voted no.
- In a 9-4 vote, approved an MPD and State of Minnesota Joint Powers Agreement for the Minneapolis Police Mounted Patrol Unit to aid with law enforcement presence at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds. Council Members Chavez, Chughtai, Ellison, and Wonsley voted no.
- In a 7-6 vote, opposed the 3000 Minnehaha Draft Concept Plan
