Accepting a $400,000 Bloomberg Philanthropies grant for biochar production.
Accepting a $1,297,502 U. S. Department of Justice grant for a Comprehensive Opioid, Stimulant, and Substance Abuse Program (COSSAP). This aims to combat the opioid crisis through First Step, a hospital-provided Medication Assisted Therapy (MAT) program.
Setting a public hearing for Oct 26, 2022 regarding Mayor Jacob Frey’s nomination of Brian O’Hara to the appointed position of Chief of the Police Department.
